The Eagle Scout Service Project is an opportunitiy for a Scout to practice leadership while completing a project for the benefit of their community. Such projects are rigorous and need a significant amount of effort to meet the requirements to attain the Eagle Scout rank.

This Eagle Scout project will construct Radio Communication Kits for Perryville High School. A goal of the project is to enable youth access to equipment that supports STEM activities and learning regarding emergency communications. Scouts and helpers will participate in making operation manuals for each kit, as well as programming and putting together the kit materials. This project will assist in creating an opportunity for high school students to better understand fundamental radio communication and its dependencies; knowing how communications work to support everday community needs to include local, state, and national emergencies.
