The Louisiana Delta Radio Club (LDRC) began operation in 2013 to fill a need in their community. LDRC is now an ARRL-affiliated club that operates five repeaters, a portable tower, and an APRS network. They work with Louisiana ARES and the Office of Homeland Security to aid in emergency communications and provide public-service communications for events.

This grant will allow the LDRC to purchase and customize a 7-8 x 18-foot trailer for emergency communications in Region 8 of Northeast Louisiana. In addition, LDRC anticipates using the trailer for ARRL Field Day and other community events.
