Led by visionary women of color, African Community Housing & Development’s mission is to provide opportunities for African Diaspora immigrant and refugee communities, families, and individuals in King County to attain health and housing stability, economic development, high-quality education, and referrals to legal services. The organization seeks to build prosperity in the communities they serve through holistic, culturally relevant education programs and social services.

Combining experiential learning with hands-on natural science education, African Community Housing & Development’s Summer Intensive: Ham Radio will serve the Greater Seattle area’s African Diaspora immigrant and refugee youth.
