Grant: Hamnet Expansion in Lublin district area

Date: May 2025
Amount: $8,693

Radiokomunikacja Kryzysowa (Rescue Radio Communication) is a group based in Kraśnik, a small town in eastern Poland. Members range in age from 15 to 80. The group promotes radio for education, emergency communication, and hands-on technical learning.

They plan to expand the HAMNET digital network by setting up new access points and connecting their town to an existing backbone in Lublin. They will also relaunch a school radio club and visit local schools to give live demonstrations, offer entry-level license training, and mentor students. The project will give young people practical experience with modern radio systems and help grow participation in Poland’s amateur radio mesh network.
