The Ontario Tech Amateur Radio Club and the Ontario Tech Space and Rocketry team are student-led groups at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Canada. They focus on hands-on learning through amateur radio and engineering projects, encouraging students to explore communication technology while supporting campus activities like rocketry and racing.

This grant will support the creation of a mobile dual-band VHF/UHF radio repeater. It will help the rocketry team stay connected during launches and give students a chance to gain practical experience and earn their amateur radio licenses. The system will also be used at public events to promote interest in amateur radio.
