Ever since ARDC began awarding grants, scholarships have been a big focus for us. In 2025, we awarded $740,700 to scholarship partners who support students pursuing technical degrees or who participate in amateur radio. Overall, our partners have awarded scholarships to over 700 ARDC scholars.

All of our scholarship grants make selections based off of a mix of need and merit, and many prioritize students underrepresented in amateur radio and digital communications related fields. Many students write to us to let us know that they would not be able to attend college without scholarship assistance.

ARDC scholarships support a mix of students involved in amateur radio and those pursuing STEM degrees that may contribute to advancements in communication technology.
