Highlights from Hamvention 2025
We had an incredible time at Hamvention 2025! From reconnecting with members of our community to meeting new faces, this year’s event was one to remember. We had a steady stream of visitors stopping by to chat and learn more about our programs, and we had 44 folks sign up for 44Net! Our forum on Friday was well attended, with folks interested in learning more about our vision & strategy, getting updates on the 44Net program, and hearing about exciting projects from several of our grantees – Case Amateur Radio Club, MMDVM, FreeDV, and Rhizomatica.
While we’re still sorting through all the great moments we captured, we couldn’t wait to share a few highlights with you. Here’s a sneak peek at our time in Xenia:

Staff, Board Members, and Volunteers at the ARDC Booth. Extra thanks to Airspy.us for lending us their booth this year!

Mel Whitten K0PFX and Mooneer Salem K6AQ of FreeDV demonstrating their Radio Autoencoder (RADE) to booth visitors

Board Member Phil Karn KA9Q (R) receives the Mary Hobart, K1MMH, Medal of Distinction at the ARRL Donor Reception, presented by ARRL CEO David Minster NA2AA (L)
We’ll be back soon with a full photo roundup– featuring more shots from the booth, our forum presentations, and some of the amazing folks we met along the way. Stay tuned!
